Does anyone on YouthNOISE plan to run for public office?

I've run before a few times for a local school board seat, as well as city council.

Last October, I put myself in the Republican primary for U.S. Congress (against Joe Barton), but did gain considerable national media attention (links of which are linked to my MySpace profile) before having to drop out due to finances.


Just curious what other office(s) YN folks planned to run for...

I might like to run for a school board seat. Does it cost to run for a school board? What, like for signs and stickers? What about the local radio stations, etc? Do they give free ad space? I have no experience in politics, but I know a couple of people, whom I admire, that hold offices at a local level.
