Question:
There were a lot of exit polls conducted during the 2004 election that tried to pinpoint what issues were most important to voting Americans today. I thought it might be interesting to have such a poll on YN. I know it'll be hard to pick, but which of these broad categories are you most concerned about? Which of these issues is the one you would be most likely to lend a presidential candidate your support to if he/she agreed with your stance?

Choices:
Terrorism/Foreign Policy/Wars
The Economy/Taxes/Welfare/Domestic Spending
Moral, Religious, or Social Issues - e.g. abortion, gay marriage, etc.
The Environment

When I vote... I usually pick democrats... since I am one, but that is not always the case. So, I look at how they will help the people and what not.

Bad phrasing on my part, I should have taken into account most of us can't vote yet. Just assume you could for the sake of the poll.

Anyway, I, too, voted for moral issues. What clpo said.

I gotta say moral issues. The other stuff is important too, but I don't want a president who's all for eugenics, or is a heterosexist. Or a KKK member. Or tries to institute a state religion.

Good question, even though I am way too young to vote, I don't like what bush stands for, hence the noisename.
