i do not support the president at this moment in time. he is putting so much of an effort on the war on terror and not enough on the war at home. the streets are a dangerous place and people get away with to much dumb shit. whares president bushes opinions on that? even if this was brought up it would not matter because there is no oil involved. thats all the man cares about. not about the us, not about japan, not about nuclear bombs in north korea, but about how much money the united states and himself can make with the amount of oil in the middle east.

I feel many of you could benefit from reading this little piece of non-propaganda. Some may not recognize it at first for what it is, but I feel it will benefit you all at least somewhat.

If we hadnt invaded iraq they would have nukes by now Bush stopped that and saved countless lives and how may i ask does the war make your life so terrible because you have to pay a few more cents for gas suck it up!

We've killed so many, I wonder quite often if the price we pay in Iraq, is worth how many lives we may have potentially saved, or even if we were in a threat at all. They would have had nukes? Big deal. The US has most of them. Why should the US dictate who can have nukes or not? Why should we be afraid of countries with nukes? India has nukes. Britian has nukes. Iran is developing nukes. North Korea is being reported to develope nukes. Why not them?

that is not bushs fault thats the tree humpers who care more about some damn caribou than about the lives of everyone in america.

Yeah, I mean, who would have thought the President of the United States would have any power?

Second, we went to Iraq because of WMD's (which we found), the rape rooms, the torture chambers, the fact that Saddam was gassing people, genocide, unkept promises to the UN, links to terror (not 9/11), and to establish a democracy in a very unstable part of the world.

Those say that there wasn't any weapons. Now, I do quite understand that there have been reports of other weapons coming about, all of which legitimately state there were no WMDSs. I also am aware we've supposed found Sarin and Mustard gas shells. We're not sure when these shells were found though, and I'm not sure when they were produced. For all I know, they could have been made way, way back when in 1970.

There have even been allegations that Bush put the weapons there. There is not as much doubt as I'd like, to say positively, that the US is not developing biological and chemical weapons of it's own. Why doesn't the UN demand to search the US?

Also, was Iraq actually a threat? Much less the weapons were produced, but was Iraq, actually that much of a threat to the US? We've seen countries openly say they hate us, so how can we justify attacking a country we had already crippled, and as the Iraq War demonstrated, we could easily demolish. (The insurgency on the other hand, is much harder. Not to say we don't have the capability though.)

Decide for you want on the WMD issue, but Torture Chambers, Rape Rooms, and Gassing People, is much less of an atrocity than what is being commited elsewhere. Why didn't we go there? Why not Iran? Or North Korea? Or Syria? Or Lebanon?

Fourth, we are fighting terror in Iraq instead of fighting it in New York City.

Yeah, and instead of killing our own civilains, we're killing other countries citizens.

First I would suggest that you take your "I hate Bush" stuff to your nearest I Hate Bush Society and leave youthnoise for serious arguments.

Second, we went to Iraq because of WMD's (which we found), the rape rooms, the torture chambers, the fact that Saddam was gassing people, genocide, unkept promises to the UN, links to terror (not 9/11), and to establish a democracy in a very unstable part of the world.

Third, President Bush knows this and told us all of these reasons in numerous speeches and press conferences.

Fourth, we are fighting terror in Iraq instead of fighting it in New York City.

These 4 years have made me realize the many enemies America has. I now realize this country isn't very safe from terroristic acts as I thought.

Bush is my president and i'm his man to the end.

The original draft of The Lord of the Rings featured Chuck Norris instead of Frodo Baggins. It was only 5 pages long, as Chuck roundhouse-kicked Sauron's ass halfway through the first chapter.

actually mn2cambodia, we are not the country with the highest crime rates. There are many others with higher rates in terms of crime per capita. However, I do beleive what you said. Bush needs to get out of office so we can stop this ridiculous, pointless war that is only making life in America more difficult.

PEACE NOT WAR! Ok... where to begin??>>

Bush needs to be stopped. This whole war thing has gone on far too long! We need to start spending money on our own country and start making jobs not war.

We need to forgive and forget. Isn't that what Jesus says for us to do anyway? To LOVE your neighbors as yourselves?? Yes, war is sometimes needed, but I think we have done more damage than the "terrorists" did to us in the first place! Man, we are the country with the highest crime rates!

It doesn't take a rocket scientist or a whole bunch of high-ranking officials to figure out that we NEED to start taking care of our OWN homes and cities and start making PEACE!!

Red, I have one thing to say to you. It is that neofacists, like you and our current president are only replicating the hierarchial system that our fore fathers fought so hard to eliminate. Bush and his cohorts are currently eliminating the civil liberties that we use to define our society and separate it from the loosly federated terrorists. by showing them we were effected so much that we are still going on about the attack we have shown weaknesses. Terrorists can smell weakness from thousands of miles away so until we pull ourselves together we will continue to lose. Also on a personal note, Clinton may have bad morals, but he was an excellent economist who carried this country for four years of growth. He had an average growth rate of 2 mil jobs per year. Good Day Sir!!

I concur to the previous statement. I also would like to add that I now have no respect or trust for the republican party in general. their are individuals that I respect and a few that I trust within the republican party. Bush and his varios cohorts seem preoccupied with turning a large profit and not with the overall good of the country. Under Bush's regime our economy has stagnated and the rich have profited from the exploitation of the proletariat.

Thank goodness YouthNoiseMaster is being sarcastic. Hasn't anyone else figured it out yet?

If so, and I'm wrecking the joke, I apologize.

Red, that apology you made was heartwarming.

Absolutely heartwarming.

Maybe we should have moderate christians track down the radical bible thumpers. I would watch that with popcorn.
