If anyone has been watching European countries getting gobbled up by the unaccountable EU, then you need to all look West.

The American Union is set to take hold in January of 2005; the vote before Congress is scheduled for December of this year.

Here is the gist of it:

Called the Free Trade of the Americas Act, this "free trade" agreement would supercede NAFTA and CAFTA (Central American) and stretch from the tip of Alaska to the tip of Chile and soak up 34 countries in the entire Western Hemisphere, excluding communist Cuba.

Not only will there be a central bank like the EU has, but there will be a one-hemisphere currency, called the Amero, like the EU's "euro."

We have GOT to stop this; the Left is hitting the environmental and worker's rights side of the debate, the Right is working on the Constitutional aspects.

Many in Europe are complaining that the EU has imposed taxes on them, an unaccountable bureaucracy, a World Court, etc., etc.

It's going to be this HUGE regional government in the Western Hemisphere if we don't get our congressmen to vote against it.

Ya, one of them mentions nothing about the bill in congress, one doesnt work, and the other is an extremeist website. It is not our job to provide proof, it is the people who present it as fact. Joey comes on and says something and then when asked for real proof, it cannot be provided. The burden of proof is on you people not us. WHERE IS THE BILL THAT IS GOING TO BE VOTED ON IN DEC?

The coalition is far from fighting. I informed Redrepublican not to waste his time with you liberals because you have to sense fo reason.
