It seems as if the Republicans can't do anything right. Bush's approval ratings are insanely low. He would lose the election if held today ( see here, awesome, i know ).Delay is probably going to go jail. Frist may be right behind him. Libby is done and it is possible that Rove is going to step down too. The war is a disaster and the hurricanes haven't helped. Even Republicans are attacking Meirs. Clearly, the GOP is having some difficulties. Anyway, my question is what do the democrats do? Right now, we are basically sitting back and watching the Republican party collapse. However, I think that they need soome sort of strategy to capitalize on the Republican mistakes. What should this strategy this be? They need to unite behind some platform that is a little more specific than Republican incompetency.

(Trumpets Sounding) Hey Youthnoise I'm back!!!! Thank You Thank You No but seriously I think that the lack luster performance from the Republican Party is due to the fact that instead of focusing on problems that need to be addressed through intimate detail and patience, the entire republican party is like an octopus with it's hands in a little of everything and not finishing what it started. It seems the case is that the conservative right elite has their own agendas and are pushing for policies that would benifit personal gain rather than the well being of the nation. It is my belief that the democratic party must and clearly come up with solutions through compromise, but at the same time have clear and cut strategies to go about and make changes to many of the problems we face. Someone must step up for the democratic party and seize the reigns.

quote: "radical" is synonymous with leftist (for obvious reasons). quote: The word you are looking for is "reactionary". Then define your use of the terminology above. Provide definitions and examples of use.

The reason for my posting was to point out your misuse of terminology. Terminology is critical to proper legal definitions. Since we are talking about politics and the lawmaking realm here, that's kind of important.

quote: Radical Right
That's a contradiction; "radical" is synonymous with leftist (for obvious reasons). The word you are looking for is "reactionary".
