What does everyone think? bad? good? Personally I think it is a horrible idea, and will further weaken the economy, along with lowering the standards for health care.

See people talk about this 'lacking of quality' but it depends on which province/ area you live in. Most of the quality is on par with America's and the wait time is the same.

I agree it's a sticky situation. Even places like Canada and the UK where health care is universal or simply affordable, people complain. I lived in the UK for some time and felt that although I had the security of knowing I could see a doctor anytime I needed to, that the care was definitely lacking in quality. No plan will be perfect, but I think we can definitely do a much better job of accommodating low income families to get the medical care they need. I applaud Obama's efforts and hope he succeeds.
