I'm not saying that the gay Republicans who are just as guilty of this need to be off the hook, but let's be fair in this debate.

I'll give you guys a pass though because many of you weren't around when the Dems had their "fun" with pages, but I find it ironic that the party of gay marriage and homosexual lifestyle choices being ok wants to point the finger...

Granted, Foley and Jim Kolbe need to be thrown out of the GOP entirely...but that's not my decision to make.

I think the Foley thing was and is stupid, but the difference between Foley and Studds is that Foley was (1) sexually harassing people who wanted nothing to do with him and (2) made his name in a gay-bashing party and by telling parents that there were predators behind every bush. The double-standard, therefore, was of Foley's own making. Nobody likes a hypocrite.

I think this deal with Mark Foley is the stupidest possible reason to vote against the GOP, but seriously--is anybody still keeping count?
