On the first day of school, our teachers announce to us that this year, they are not to give out any homework and if they do, we have a right to pass it in whenever we desire. They apparently cannot change this rule because it was brought to us by the Minister of Education here in Nova Scotia. Oddly enough, I can't find any information on the matter and other schools in my school board do not follow this so called rule.

Has anyone else heard of this?
