What do you honestly think would be going on right now or what had already happened if John Kerry won for President?

Honestly, I doubt that there would be much difference. The U.S. would still be in Iraq. The economy would probably be about the same. The main positive difference would have been that Kerry would have nominated more liberal justices.

Ok this is coming from a person who worked on the campaign for Kerry....I know your going to shot me but I'm use to it.

Um... I can safely tell you that there are no "Kerry lovers" there are only "Bush Haters". I have a personal beef with 9/11 which could have happened anywhere, anytime. Why did I go for Kerry? Heath Care, Jobs, Gay Rights, Women's Rights and most importantly something to do!

Like I said before I'm more of a "Bush Hater" then a "Kerry Lover". So what do I think would happen?

I think it would be the same. With the exception with a better Suprieme Court and some more gay/Women's rights. Both men sucked at answering questions about the War in Iraq and probably would have said anything to get into office. Politics are dirty ,and I don't think either man would have done anything much different. We would still be at war. We would still have a supreme court trial. People would still make fun of the president. And most importantly, There would still be JibJab....
take care!

We'd probably have been attacked again, as terrorists like weakness.

We still would have had a shitty response to Katrina because the same Mayor and Governor were in place in New Orleans and Louisiana, and FEMA is still a typical government bureaucracy.

There would be no efforts made at curtailing Iran's and North Korea's nuclear ambitions; based on past history of Democratic presidents, if anything, we'd probably be helping them pursue them.

The economy would take a nosedive because Wall Street would fear a host of new taxes and regulations.

The crime rate would rise because Kerry is in love with gun control.

People would be losing their homes left, right and center because Kerry would likely oppose any restriction on eminent domain.

The entertainment industry would lobby successfully to make Digital Rights Management and Fair Use so strict, you need to buy two of the same CDs if you want to listen to music in your car and in your home.

I can't think of any positive things that would be different had Kerry been elected. DO NOT interpret this as meaning that I am in love with the Bush Administration - I am not; there i's a lot of stuff I wish they'd get off their asses and do! But, I guess as the old saying goes, the only time your wallet's safe is when government is at a standstill.

I don't know I've never thought about this, if you want to know the truth I have to say I'm not sure.

I mean both Bush and Kerry have their pro's and con's. Bush is not the best ruler, but he stands firmly in what he believes in. Kerry seemed to me to be a bit of a push over, like he couldn't make up his mind. I mean Kerry at first voted in favor of the war in Iraq then changed his mind all of the sudden. Bush has held his opinion and followed through with what he started.

I don't really like either candidates, I think if Kerry had won we most likely wouldn't be any better off, we just might be stuck in another mess other then the war.

Have a great day.

Well, the Supreme Court would be a lot better (more liberal). Iraq would still be a mess (it was already screwed up in Nov.). The government would have still bungled the hurricane relief, perhaps not to the extent of the Bush administration.
