No i think that joey, being a journalist, may have resources that Congress doesnt. He does know ?Mike Triess? (?Pastor Mike Triess?) so the extent of his privleges are endless. I would give him some credit.

Well, then if the vote is scheduled in december, why isn't it on the Congressional Calender? If you know when the vote is, then surley congress also does.

You people are blind. Of course there's not a "bill." It's JUNE. Congress will vote on this in DECEMBER. I'll contact my congressman and Ron Paul's office to see if I can't get any information that they have on these fast-track legislative items. quote: The president, under what is called "fast-track" legislation, has all authority on trade agreements, not Congress.

Actually, I have allready given the exacy definition of what fast track legislation is, and yes it does still require a vote. For a vote to take place - there must be a written discription of what they are voting, a bill. I'm not going to to post it again, but look for it, I believe it is uneder 'American Union'. "I have searched all over http://thomas.loc.gov/ and I can not find one vote scheduled in December, yet alone a vote scheduled for an American Union. Even with your fast track legislation arguement there would still be a copy of the treaty provided for voters and a date on the official calnder to vote on this issue." - May 31, there is your proof that this American Union does not exsists. *This post has proudly been deemed racism free by the Honorable Coalition of Bushsupporter, Marine16, notsojoey, FreeMarketLover, and Redrepublican and their endless pursuit to cast out the bigotry that has infiltrated youthNOISE.*

Word, fast track legislation isn't contained in bills(which is why its so sleazy). I just posted the link because I saw "Do you have any idea how hard it is to find bills?". Figured you were talking about bills. Damn you context!

Jazzeykitten, I have pointed this exact qoute out to you before. This time read it... Show me where the proof is that says this statement is wrong. *This post has proudly been deemed racism free by the Honorable Coalition of Bushsupporter, Marine16, notsojoey, FreeMarketLover, and Redrepublican and their endless pursuit to cast out the bigotry that has infiltrated youthNOISE.*

Ah yes... Thank you jookly. He is in fact right. Marine has also stated on the other board that there is no record of this bill. That makes all of your future posts moot, now doesn't it.

I don't have it in my pocket, "your moron". Do you have any idea how hard it is to find bills? If you disagree with me, I'm sure you would of just figured to look and see if there was one or not. Oh, my... I'm sorry! You don't have to look for anything. Everyone is supposed to hand it to you on a silver platter. Forgive me. *sarcasm dripping off my tongue in case you weren't bright enought FIGURE it out!* quote: Originally posted by marine16: JazzyKitten, provide my with me with a link to the text of the bill that deals specifically with forming an American Union, not just Bush talking about free trade on the South Lawn. Also, show me on the calender where the vote is scheduled for. If you could do all this, I would appreciate it, but I am sure you wont - your moron.

You know... this is kind of beside the point. If the president actually sat down and wrote his own speeches, wouldn't it be funny to hand his paper to an English teacher and see all of the corrections made on it? Anyway... President Calls on Senate to Pass Trade Bill The South Lawn 6:05 A.M. EDT THE PRESIDENT: ...I will reaffirm our commitment to trade. I hope the United States Senate finishes debate on the trade promotion authority and passes the bill. It's going to be important for our friends around the world to see this commitment to trade. ... I hope they finish the debate and pass this important legislation. It'll be a strong positive message. Thank you very much. END 6:08 A.M. I will now ask for proof of that. You are expecting me to beleive that senator and congressmen do not read the bills they vote on. That they vote on them by their name alone. Come on. I will not consider your post valid due to youir lack of proof for such an egregious claim.

They don't actually read those bills! Seriously! Do you know that they majority of the people the voted for the Patriot Act later admitted that they never even looked at! Wow... I feel so secure.

I will stand up with marine and call for the bill. Are you telling me that someone stands up and says, just say yes or no, and then says surprise, it was this bill. Come on. I am with marine. Show me the bill.

There has to be legislation provided for something to be voted on. Fast track legislation means nothing. It means they consider a bill in rapid time. But, unfortunatley for you, there must be a bill for the members of congress to read - so they know what they are voting on. Your websites that tell me how 'bad' the FTAA are uncredible and I will not be influenced by them and I am appauled that you are.
