Clinton's damn surplus

Oh, you mean the taxpayer's surplus! The money that Clinton took so much of from hardworking Americans that he didn't know what to do with it. Well, thanks to Bush, we got it back.

IOW, Clinton overcharged us, and Bush made sure we got back what is rightfully ours.

it must be really hard to be president, so people could give him some slack
It must be really hard to be a surgeon, so let's just forgive and forget if one cuts this instead of that and the patient dies. Considering the amount of influence the president has on both the nation and the world, any sort of mistake is unforgivable. He deserves no slack.

It may sound naive, but, I've heard a lot of people bashing Bush and other political leaders a lot. If you think about it, it must be really hard to be president, so people could give him some slack,Roll Eyes but also it takes 5-7 years or so for the effects of the economy to show up. So really Bush is fixing Clinton's mistakes. Just wait and see. Razz

God, I know. I've seen 10 year olds with more developed, rational opinions than some of these people. And sadly, I don't think you're that off the mark when you say maybe 15 or so people on this site actually respond to a topic with something other than "bU$h suks!!! he's only in Irak for teh oil!!!111" or "liberalls r dumb!" Hopefully, we'll see some more sane, logical posters on this topic.

what has bush really done for the economy, i meen other than making things better for the republicans.
The only reason he still has supporters is because he has brainwashed the majoraty of america with his lack of big words in his speeches.
And as for the war in iraq-im still wondering why we went over there in the first place. there was no visible threat or any connection or proof for a connection to sept, 11th. so now were over there in iraq killing people claiming to be setting up a govt. all were really doing is finishing what george bush senior couldnt finish after desert storm. and isnt imperilism suppost to be illegial.!!!!!!!!

It has been enforced, actually. There is an (ex) judge here in NJ who got busted under that law.

i think that what celticnewager(?) means is a law that says you can't travel to other countries to have sex w/ child prostitutes. but i haven't heard about that, and i doubt someone would state:the reason i am going to japan/china/europe/wherever is so i can have some fun with some child prostitutes!

but bush is an A*s anyways

Actually, in many countries the age of consent/enforcement of the laws is low (example: Thailand), and many people easily get away with it. So this is actually eliminating a big loophole that allows perverts to get away with Sex crimes.
