Dear Ms. Blanco, Today the State of Louisiana voted on Gay Marriage; although not every vote is in yet the outcome can be told very easily that the Act will be passed. Although I am not of voting age yet, 16 years of age, I feel like I should still put in a say. I find this to be one of the issues of utmost importance that our country will face at this time. I feel that this act is unjust and a ban so to say on gay marriage is terrible. I am aware of the fact that New Orleans is more pro gay marriage (as seen by a 50 50 split in the voting) whereas the rest of the state was 80 20. I urge you to do everything in your power to stop this bill. If given the opportunity I would like to meet with you or your advisors to get the voice of the youth heard. I would be more than willing to meet with them along with some of the other youth of the state. I wrote that to my govenor. If you live in Louisiana write the govenor, WRITE BLACO AN EMAILIf you believe Act 926-2004, Marriage in LA - union of 1 man and 1 woman is completely wrong, LET BLANCO KNOW The List Here is a list of the email adress for every govenor, let them know how you feel!

Cool, I might do that. And if I don't get a reply email, there's nothing like a good ol' worm to annoy the hell out of anyone and destroy their email and computer. I wonder which other states have decided on this issue thus far. A bill to ban gay marriage was defeated in the MN House of Reps...however more bills attempting to do the same thing in a less offensive way are being proposed.
