Woo! I'm taking off of school tomorrow to go to it. This will be awesome! Want complimentary tickets? http://www.johnkerry.com/events/091504_madison_form.phpSheryl Crow will be there, for a FREE performance, plus, you get to hear our future president speak! I hope to see lots of people there. If you're going, lemme know. (The rally is located in Madison.)

I know. I'd protest if I didnt have school tomorrow... Its not that I dont like Nadar, but, in this race, a vote for Nadar is a vote for Bush. Arg! I borrowed someones camera for the event and now I cant get it hooked up... Damned thing.

Cool. Yeah, being tall at those things helps. At 6'4", not only was I able to see Kerry when he came to town, the back of my head was on all the major news stations for hours!

DaHood, I know you hate me. But I looooooove you! I'll post some pictures in a minute. It was awesome. Everyone there was so nice and fun to be around. Because I was so short, I kind of had to jump to see over peoples heads, but a few people ducked down a bit so I could see Kerry for a minute. I actually did find a good place in the crowd, so I was able to see him for most of his speech. His speech was excellent, and there was electricity in the air. Every word was like a party. No, I wasnt on drugs. There were a few protesters for Nadar, but I didnt see any protesters that were for Bush. Overall, it had a great atmosphere, and was wicked fun.

So, did you have fun? And what did he speak on?

I'll try, but making no promises. (Transportation is still a problem, though. Must check with friends)

Get your parents to call you in sick. Or, tell your teachers that its a more valid excuse then just skipping all day. Offer to write a report or something. You should go. You must! Peer pressure, bend to it.

True, but I also heard that some teachers are threatening the students who go to see him, like: you're not here cause of it, you won't be able to make up any wrok you missed... I don't know if any of my teachers would do that or not, but you never know

Haha, I'd give you a ride if you got excused from school. You shouldnt miss it- This will be great. Besides, how many people can say they saw the president live?

I SO want to go, but it's during school, and I can't really miss it, plus I have no transportation... I can take the bus, but I also don't think it would be a good idea for me to go to it. A LOT of my friends are going though. Maybe I will go, maybe I won't. I'll decide tonight.

Yeah, I'm so excited. I'll be taking pictures, unfortunately my digital camera is in Spain right now, but I'm stealing my aunts. I'll have to post a few up here- I wish you two could come! Redrepublican lives in WI... I wonder if he's going? If he is, I'll beat him with a stick in the name of "ya'll."

I wish I was! If this is your first time seeing Kerry speak in person, you'll be impressed. He comes across in person a lot better than he does on TV (I saw him in person back in February). I got to miss school yesterday to see Edwards speak, too! And Dean in person was something else. Unfortunately, I saw him right after he started taking the heat for his lunatic scream, so he tried to tone his speeches down. Still, a very enthusiastic guy!
