This has been out for awhile but I thought I'd share it since I'm on a roll over media bias. The New York Times admits liberal bias. This column was written by the Times' ombudsman, Daniel Okrent, and while he tries to justify and downplay the bias, it's refreshing to hear the Times finally acknowledge this. It's worth noting that the New York Times is the 800-pound gorilla of the news industry, and the Times' bias - and what it doesn't report determines what most of the rest of the media reports and slants.
