Okay. I've gotta say it. Can everyone please stop labeling people as a liberal or a conservative, and automatically assume that every single political opinion they have coincides with that political persuasion? It's just ignorant - you can't expect everyone who believes in gay marriage to believe in abortion. You can't expect everyone who supports the war in Iraq to also support Bush's environmental plans. Don't disregard anyone's political opinions because they disagree with you on one topic.

I am a proud Conservative Democrat (Because I'm Southern and damn proud to be) with Libertarian govermental values.

You are liberal. Liberals are the only ones that ever say they dont like labels. I have never understood why the majority of liberals are not proud of it. I have never heard someone called a conservative and the conservative respond with, "Why do youhave to use labels, they are so unfair." But to answer your question, there is nothing wrong with labels. They are used to judge a person's place of sitting. By that I mean, show me where you sit before you show me where you stand. Generalizations are something that is inherant in our human nature. There is nothing wrong with them. There is something wrong when you ast negativly on them. "Liberals are dumb" is a faulty argument, that does not work. "Liberals are in favor of big government" does work.
