The word on the street is that the Conservatives are gonna win, let's cross our fingers in prayer that they don't or we'll be on the same path as the States. I'm pushing for the Liberals, even though they haven't exactly been what they said they would, or NDP. But, let's face it, NDP just won't get the votes to get into power, even with a minority govt. Therefore, Liberal is next best, and anything beats Conservative. Happy voting!

starting a party what a good idea. but i still belive that ndp will rock this election because the liberals just had a big scandle. the conservatives are promicing a whole lot of spending and the bloc wants to break apart form canada that leaves three choises ndp green independent and this year like the last willl be yet anouther minority goverment and it would only be worce than it was before harper put it to polls.

I personally think that the NDP party is the lesser of all the evils. If any party has to get in (and of course, one does) I'd like it to be them. But, I really don't think that's going to happen this time.
The liberals and conservatives are really fighting each other. If we are as money hungry as I think a lot of people may be, the conservatives just might get in. After all, they are wanting to just hand out money all over the place. They are promising to hand out "childcare" money directly to parents, and to lower the gst to 5% and backdate it, meaning Canadians will get a bunch of money back. Hmm, I like money, but not at the cost of selling out our country.
Unfortunately, I think the Bloc has a good chance of getting a minority gov't. With all the other provinces devided between the other two major parties, if Quebec shows solidarity with the Bloc, it just may happen.
Personally, I think we need a party run by actual Canadians who know a little more about what is really happening in our country and who care about. Not people just trying to pad their bankbook. JMHO, but next election, I'm starting my own party.
