The recent hurricanes disabeled many refinearies

I think we should focus on not making cars that burn gas, but focus on cars that burn Hydrogen!! but even better, don't make them need to fill their tanks with hydrogen, because its kinda dangerous if you dont know how... , but you should be able to fill your tank up with distilled water. The water is split into hydrogen and oxygen, which is burned in the engine. This is the only way to save the world from gas!! car companies should put their production of gas reliant cars on hold for a bit, and make some hydrogen combuston cars. Just half *** one to get it out there, then they can work on making it get more MPG and stuff.
Who cares if your car gets 5 MPG running on hydrogen when all you're filling it with is water!! Things like efficency can wait when producing the hydrogen cars...

But anyways, since refinearies are kinda broken at the moment, and there already is a shortage of them, dont waste money on building more when hydrogen cars are just around the corner! focus that money on this!! I hope the president reads this.

oh. Well, anyways DOWN WITH GAS!!!! Time to start hydrogen combustion. Dont waste money on building more refineries that wont be needed in 15 years!! IT probably takes like 5 years to build one anyways, it is a big waste!

They really don't encourage the people of the U.S. conserve gas at all. Oh sure they set up car pool lanes and stuff like that but they don't make an EFFORT. Ah well, it's up to us then!

I totally agree with you on this one (kind of, ha ha). We, the U.S. that is, totally need to stop being such gas hogs. Like you said, we need to work on developing alternative fuels and cars to use them, but we also need to just work with what we already have. Examples:
1. Public transport and car pooling, it's already in place but will some more nudges from the government and improvements on public trans I think we could really work it out. Other countries have, why not us?
2. Hummvees. GET RID OF THE STINKING THINGS!!! They are total gas hogs and what's the EFING POINT! Arnold has one so they're cool. Yeah.
3. All those other SUV gas hogs, get rid of them too. We need economy cars. Maybe if we have high gas prices like Europe has we'll come to our senses like they have (do you see loads of gas hogs in European cities, I don't think so! 1 + 1 = 2)
