Over the course of oh, say a year, I've really detached myself from the conspiracy theory crowd. We're talking topics ranging from 9/11 to the "NWO" to Infowars.com -- to everything in between. It just doesn't get you anywhere, and it's somewhat embarrassing.

Most conspiracy theorists just don't want to think the government might actually be telling the truth. That's what it all boils down to. Of course, this just leads to gross misinformation and false facts, which are the foundation for every major conspiracy theory. No stars in moon pictures? Learn something about how photography works. High rise fires don't result in building collapses? No other high rise fire was caused by a jet airplane. Stuff like that. I seriously can't believe people actually believe conspiracy theories. It makes me fear for the future of humanity. If we can believe in a government that has the ability to kill 3000 of its own citizens offhand and somehow can't off a documentary maker who's exposing all its dirty secrets, we can believe anything, which isn't a good thing.
The more you know, the less you don't know.

Welcome to the ranks of the lucid.
And then, as the books were told, Fina replied: "A can of worms, my dear friend? What has this to do with reason?"
