do any of you believe the Government has proof of alien existance, if so do you think aliens have influenced our advances in technology?

If aliens visited Earth--for observation or any other reason--I'm sure they'd be careful not to let us know about it.

And yes, they did find a supposed Martian meteorite, but I seem to remember that it was discounted as evidence because of possible contamination.

i think they found a rock in anartica (thought to be from mars) well preserved that may have evidence of life.....i dont know if they ever prooved or disprooved it though, anyone can correct me if i am wrong, but it is YN so i sure someone will

I highly doubt that there are aliens on earth. Like clpo, I believe that aliens or some of extraterrestrial life exists. Didn't scientists find some fosilized bacterial life form on Mars a few years ago?

There is no doubt in my mind that extraterrestrial beings must exist. But I don't think the government is covering up any evidence of alien visitors. They're too incompetent.

As for any extraterrestrial influence in technology, I highly doubt it. Naturally, any civilization that could come up with an economical way to travel between star systems would have advanced far beyond terabyte computer hard drives, iPods, and hybrid cars.

They invented the Chimichanga and tex-mex.

There is to much evidence that Aleins are not among us for me to accept such a theory. There is little or no evidence to support it that is accepted by the scientific mainstream.

The most simple answer is usually the right one.
