In your opinion, is an absolute utopia possible?

Honestly, I don't think my version of utopia is possible. It is simply human nature to compete and try to be better than others. There will always be people that are not happy with their postion in society. I think survival of the fittest prevents a true utopia from ever existing.

I think alot of it depends on your deffinition of Utopia. In the dictionary it says "An ideally perfect place, expecially in its social, political, and moral aspects" in that sense, I go with my first statement. But I understand what soccerchic06 is saying. A world where, sure we argue, disagree...etc. but we don't harm eachother. Physically or emotionally. Do I believe it CAN happen? Yes, Do I think it will? No

In my humble opinion, I don't believe a utopia of any kind is possible. In order to get there, every one would need to be happy. That is the thing right there. You can't please everyone, no matter how hard you try. There will always be dissidents who don't like one thing or another. It's a pipe dream that everyone would love to come true but won't.

Utopia means "No Place." In other words there is no Utopia. It is impossible to reach such a place because of human nature and emotion...even if you were to try and supress it, it would bloom.

No, I don't believe in Utopia. And I frankly don't want it. To acheive Utopia we would have to supress some emotions, such as anger. A world with supressed emotion? Sounds like High School to me, no thanks.
