I suppose a nation constantly at war with someone would need a large standing army. That was sarcasm, by the way. I like socialized medicine. Better than privatized, wouldn't you agree?

her views in general especially on social programs like socalized medicine give me the heebie jeebies not to mention her slant on the military is similer to her husbands elect her and hello reduction in force. which can not only lose guys their job prevent me from getting one in the military someday

I don't really pay attention when CSPAN is on TV still I hope he gets it or maybe better he and powell form an independant party of moderates and dominate the white house!

If she does win(a very large if there) I'm moving to england the vast majority of people who vote are white males so they elecet the same now if a perfectly capable african american, or hispanic or native american, etc male or female shows up I'll vote for them but I don't consider Hillery capable of teaching small children finger painting much less leading our nation. Sides just because she's a woman doesn't mean women will vote for her that would just ruin the election process and now I leave you with Colin Powell in '08

I think in the very next presidential election we have a good chance of a woman being elected. The majority of Americans are women not men despite what you think. Also Hilary Clinton is thinking of running in the next election. She could very well win.
Smile cuz life is too short not to enjoy!

I hope not. I can think of a few women who I'd like to see run, but Hillary is about last on the list.

I think you missed one when making your poll: None of the above. None of those groups will ever be elected as president. Unfourtunatly, the vast majority of the world, especially the third world that the liberals love so much, is racist and sexist. We cannot have a president who would not be feared and respected in the eyes of all nations. I would not vote for one because the world would not accept one. If we had a president from one of those groups, we would be "going it alone" and we cant have that now can we???

Why would the ethnic background or sex of candidates matter? You should vote for who is best qualified, not because you want to see a minority in office.
Besides, we'll never see a Native American as president - at least not in this lifetime. Impossible.
