For those of you in Rio Linda, ADA stands for the Americans with Disabilities Act, passed July 26, 1990. Despite having overwhelming support when it was written ADA has since caused countless unnecessary lawsuits, the irresponsible delegation of power over business by Congress, it adds to the cost of entrepeneurship and starting ones own business, it costs local governments much more to provide mandatory services, offsetting the benefits, and requires state and local government to pay for and build new facilties that can not be upheld through lack of taxpayer mandates.

This legislation, which critically affects how America's small business economy is run, is slowly us down, adds to the over 50% of small businesses that go out of business in the first year, and costs the taxpayer much more than it gives back to those it is supposed to help.
