Yesterday it passed, hooray! But, Bush-in his infinite stupidity-promises to veto it. All this bill will do is save embryos from the dumpster, and instead use them to find a cure for parkinsons, diabetes, cancer, and paralysis.

Eh...I don't agree with the whole idea of fertility clinics either...so my personal opinion still stands (for religious reasons, none I wish to argue about...I just wanted to state that), although I retract the Bush and Republican link to it.

Actually, the embryos used in stem-cell research are from fertility clinics and not abortions.

I can see however, where it may make more of a justification for abortion, which Bush is very against. This would make it very not "stupid" from his, and most Republican's standpoints.
