http://www.iowacaucus.org/So it opens the "election season" that could very well "save" America. Do you think it's results are a reflection of how other states will vote in their caucuses and, ultimately, how our country will vote in Nov 2008?

Iowa is far from the be-all-end-all of who the parties will pick for the November election. On the Republican side, for instance, Iowa is a tug-of-war between Romney and Huckabee, and I can practically guarantee that Romney's appeal won't stretch past New Hampshire and that Huck's appeal won't even make it to New Hampshire. On the Democratic side, we have a 3-way tie between Clinton, Obama, and Edwards in Iowa; a 2-way tie between Clinton and Obama in New Hampshire; and a 1-way tie between Clinton in almost all of the rest of the country.
But the importance of the Iowa caucus shouldn't be understated, either. In '04, everything was between Howard Dean and Wes Clark until, somehow, John Kerry emerged the victor of the Iowa caucus. The media attention and ensuing traction the winner gets can be huge. Early losers can be very quick to drop out (before the '04 primary was over, Kerry's only competitor was Kucinich!).
In conclusion, I don't really know. I would like to see the country go a different direction from whoever Iowa picks, though. The amount of attention the politicians give Iowa is just absurd. If they forget the rest of the country, maybe the rest of the country should forget them.

I understand that its just one state, however I certainly feel that it will give some prediction as to how some (if not how the country, obviously) will vote come their caucuses. And thank you for the correction. I always do seem to confuse the two.

I don't, not really anyway. It's just one state, one small region of the entire population of the USA. And you were supposed to say "its" not "it's" because the form you used means "it is" not the possessive form you intended.
