quote: the whole CD media will die and you'll pay a lot less in the first place cause the biggest part of the money you shell out is production costs those little disks are expensive
No they aren't, it's a disk of plastic and some metal foil. They cost about 10 cents to manufacture. Thats why you can buy blank ones for about 50 cents a peice. The biggest cost comes from marketing, advertising, and general profiteering. Thats why my friends can make a CD for their garage band and sell them for 3 bucks, still making a profit.

ARG! Put this crap in Randomosity. We don't need any more "I couldn't come up with a topic so but felt the need to make a thread anyway" threads.

Hasnt it always cost money? I mean, unless you made it yourself. Then its free. Unless you charge yourself. Then you would be dumb.

We're also taught to ask before burrowing or sharing something too. When you don't, that's normally called "stealing." If no one's asking the band if they can "share" their music... Then it's stealing, not sharing.
BTW: Napster is legal now. They just make you pay for it and pay a royalty to the band/singer.
