Met this guy at the March on Crawford event this past Saturday, and as I started reading more, it became more clear, if that phrase makes sense. The American mainstream press - ALL of it - has covered up the Battle of Baghdad, but the foreign media has been accurate - I think - in detailing just how many deaths our servicemen and women have totaled, and when the government says it's 570, you better take that with a grain of salt. http://www.geocities.com/onlythecaptain/It's a very informative website and hopefully soon, I'll be able to put out something in our paper about it. By the way, about 1,000 people went to Crawford, where President Bush's ranch house is at. It was so much fun!

As a general rule, the facts about battles and other major events are not accepted as truth by the historical community. This is a good approach, as I'm sure that NOBODY has the full story, not the American press, not you, not me, not even your friend from the March on Crawford event. No offense, it's just that everybody has an agenda relating to this right now, and there's no way to get an objective view. I believe in the free flow of information just as much as the next guy, Joey, (hence my name), but it's just to soon to take anything without a grain of salt, as you put it so well.
