We are divided, not by race but by political belief. It is the worst thing that could have occurred in the US. The democratic system has blown up right i our faces. The very parties which this country was founded on and united upon are the reason why we are so split. I am calling for the unity of the US starting with this site. The election is over so lets drop it. The arguments about Bush are repetitive so lets end them. Let's talk about he current events and problems in the US. We need to end the generalization of subjects here on Youthnoise. Let's talk about Operation Phantom Fury or the fact that Bush wants to give citizenship to illegal immigrants. Let's talk about Yassar Arafat and the Middle East. The world and our country are shattered. The United Nations is no longer relevant to the world. Every country is pitted against every other country. It's not just us, it is Africa, it is South America, it is Europe. Let's branch out as a country and try to once again unite as a country, as allies. Let's meet the threat of evil and bring about the stability of our world. This has been bugging me for the last week. It seems as though there is a void in our country. I know a lot of you have an opinion about this, so let's address it here.

It's difficult when the country is so clearly divided. I don't think that the country will rest until there is a candidate that will win by a huge margin so that the country isn't so polarized. It's definately problematic. I don't think it will be solved until the next presidential election. For now we will have to deal with some very upset and very happy people.

I did not put www.michaelsavage.com up to have you see where I got my facts, I did it so you could see pictures of the Fallujeh incident.

Blank, Michael Savage? That's like me trying to prove to you BUsh is an idiot by using a site that says www.ihatebush.comquote: I know, but the UN is supposed to be promoting human rights. The USSR was a huge violator of human rights, and they shouldn't have the influence that the UN allowed them to have, especially considering how important it was to human rights that the USSR was not victorious in their vision of making the whole world red.
The whole world read theory was in Czarist Russia, which was some time before the UN. And the USSR is not a violator of human rights. What the government here does, is needed to do, because it's not easy to control the largest country in the world, with many different ethnic groups, and wars that have lasted centuries. quote: I have to completely and utterly disagree with you on that one. I don't think the U.N. should be granted any more power than it already has. We don't need other countries making decisions for us. I am not a fan of Bush's foreign policy, but I adamantly oppose the idea of any international body taking control of decisions that I feel should be made nationally.
I agree with this, but I am also thinking it should have bigger control over ALL countries, becuase this can stop many wars. Bush didin't even consider the UN, or your allies, which definelty was the wrong move.

Voice of America- I agree that the UN is nothing but a figurehead in international relations and that it has shown its worthlessness as of late. To clear up the other comment- I am NOT in support of citizenship for illegal citizens. I was saying that Bush was planning on doing this as he announced it this past Tuesday. Celtic New Ager- I agree that the democratic system here isn't as bad as it could be but it seems as though we're on the path to chaos. I do believe that foreigners are mistreating are troops as seen in a very graphic picture of the mutiliation of two US soldiers bodies at the hands of Iraqi citizens. The troops died when their humvee was attacked and blown up. The Iraqis dragged their charred bodies through the streets beating them with shovels, until they hung them from a bridge in Fallujeh. pics on www.michaelsavage.com

First off, giving citizenship to a person who is disrepecting the laws of the nation giving citizenship strikes me as being dumb. Becoming a citizen should be a privledge. Also, I think that with the death of Arafat, there is new hope for the Middle East. quote: The world and our country are shattered. The United Nations is no longer relevant to the world. I am not American, but as far as I have been taught, democracy isn't having such a chaos that you can't leave your home, that elections are worthless crap, and foreigners mistreat your soldiers.

Only two months ago Bush met with the UN and instead of discussing the well-being of Iraq, the UN critized Bush. The UN needs to stop with the criticism and start helping out with Iraq. Why? Because there are millions of Iraqis waiting for the new and democratic Iraq. It is no longer the UN ignoring us it's the UN ignoring the Iraqi people. I agree that Bush did ignore the UN, but the truth is that it was taking to long going through the UN. In fact, Clinton had also ignored the UN and took matters into his own hands with Bosnia. He went into Bosnia w/o UN support or that of France.

No no no no. You need to get something straight. Your President ignored the UN. Don't go around blaming others.
