Here is a place to debate your views on president bush. I myself am VERY anti-Bush but I would like to see other peoples reasons.

I'm not VERY anti-bush, but I think he did a lot to screw us over.

Kinda a measure once cut twice deal.

I'd have to say that I am anti-bush policy. I don't actually believe that he entered office with evil intentions, he just went way, way off the path.

Besides his slow-witted charm is endearing.

Definately Anti-Bush!!!! He put us in this war that was started for no reason!! We didnt need to get involved in that. Now we are in debt and its mostly the money that we borrowed from other countrys to pay for the war!! Now, since he was in office our economy went Waaayyyy down. I dont know if this is his fault so I wont pretend that I do, but this did happen while he was in office.
Thank-you,
MaX

well dream2dare its great to see your views are divorced entirely from any media jargon or campaign rhetoric finally a independent thinker,
on the other hand please don't be so narrow minded as to think "your" current economic disaster was initiated in anyway by the bush administration(who pushed for tougher regulation)cause i'm sure you are aware most policies regarding the economic collapse were passed prior to bush arriving "in president" although i do have "hope" that obamas "change" (back) to a Clinton like administration can promote more stability than this admin has.

but obama gives hope for the better(/QUOTE]

I was just wondering and call me a fool or whatnot, but HOW does Obama give hope for the better? I have listened to as many speeches of his as I can, especially the Democratic National Convention Acceptance speech. I hear him saying things like "Change" and "Hope" and "The Future" and yet I stil can't find anyone who knows what his plans are to make these changes and bring hope to the future.

I know lots of people love Obama, he's young, charismatic, and a very good speaker, but he hasn't the experience to pull off anything near the Presidency. As for President Bush, I will agree that the man has made mistakes, but we have been fighting a war on TWO fronts for the past 5 years. Also the Economy is in the crapper, I'm not saying I'm Anti-Obama or Anti-Bush. I think that Bush could improve on areas of his administration but he has done some things well. My main problem with Obama is simply his lack of experience and the fact that on many of the key debates in the last 4 years he has voted present instead of yes or no.

[QUOTE]I was never proud of being american with bush in office

Dream you weren't proud to be an American when Bush was in office, what will be different with any other candidate for Presidency?

George Bush is one of the worst things to come to america in many many years. His actions have pushed us into a downward spiral that will take years to fix. Our economy, legislative and judicial systems are ruined.

I have never been proud of being an american until Barack Obama became a candidate, which changed my perception of politics. It is just so unfortunate that just a few people can affect many peoples love of america. Bush's administration will be scoffed at for years to come.
