I am a communist and belive it can work but looking back at for example the Korea´s, the communist north is impoverished and the capitalist south is a first world country. Do you think communist just doesnt work????
Communisum was doomed from the start becauce its an idological theory. Im not against its theory on paper im quite for it but looking back over history it was and will never work, as shown in Korea and "Dictatorship" Cuba and the general wipe out of it in the 60's
People who enjoy wearing flags....dont deserve to have them
Are you trying to be stupid or are you just unfortunate? Hitler was a fascist (more specifically a National Socialist), not a Communist, nor even a communist. You're thinking of Stalin, but I don't want to have to explain the difference between big "C" and little "c" again... -----------------------------2921

Actually, totalitarian communism is dumb, but true communism is pretty great. Communism is a community thing, which is why it is called as such. Has anyone ever read Utopia by Sir Thomas Moore? That is true communism. Not this totalitarianism idea that everyone gotten.
Democrats are way sexier. Have you ever heard of a nice piece of elephant?
Ithink communism could work mit just needs a leader who knows what he is doing. But ofcourse if there is a leader it is not pure communism, so it would have to be a 'light' communism.
Hitler was one bad apple that doesn't really represent communism well at all.
Hitler didn't represent Communism at all. He was a fascist.
One phrase sums up communism in my opinion: communism would be a good idea if it weren't for human nature.
In other words, humans doom communism to fail. Communism is all about being completely equal to one another, yet there will always be people who want special treatment, or who want to rule everything, and communism leaves things wide open for a dictator to step in and take control.
Communism can work on a small scale. Take communes for instance. But once you get pretty big--like a whole country, for instance--things start to break down. Not everyone wants to be an equal.
To quote a line from Orwell's Animal Farm, "All [people] are equal, but some are more equal than others."
I'm not a communist, but I do think that communism has a lot of .. beneficial ideals. That is, only for some countries. Countries that may not be as financially "fueled" that would benefit from that form of government. Communism is actually a really good idea, but only for certain types of countries.
