What the hell is it gonna be now? The Salad Monster? The Soy Monster?

Sesame Street just updates it's show as issues arise. In Africa, there is a puppet that has AIDS on Sesame Street. Just as education is important and hygiene, now health is important. I wish cookie monster the best of luck with his diet. A pro is that kids will learn to eat in moderation, a con is that kids don't really need diets, carbs are good for them.

Yeah, parents are supposed to teach kids to eat helathy. Then again, they're not supposed to abuse there kids, either, and not everyone does that.

It's not necessarily our fault. Obesity is genetic and I didn't start cooking food for myself nor picking out food in the grocery store until I was at least 11 or 12...by then a kid can already be obese.

I agree with Barkid---it's the parent's responsibility. I kinda wish Sesame Street would pick someone else other than the Cookie Monster to teach healthy living. The Cookie Monster just isn't the same without cookies.

i think its kinda sad that we've all become so self consciuos <spelt wrong but who cares > about what we look like that we've had to change sesame street! For god's sakes its older than any of us !!!!! Sure its good to promote healthy eating habits in little kids. But aren't the parents supposed to do that ? Oh how far we have fallen. poor cookie monster those veggies must be killing him..... well not really he is a puppet after all
