It will act as population control

Yes, but a world of all guys? Think if that sounds good to you ; )

I think It's a good thing. There are already issues with limited resources. If we don't take steps to controll that, people will be starving, without houses, and we'll run out of gasoline.

But just what are the restrictions? Anyone know?

Why? It will act as population control therefore theorticly(sp?) limiting the number of starving/homeless children.

I'd rather limit the number of children than have children starve to death or not be properly taken care of. The growing difference in the male to female ration is what worries me.

I really don't know. There are pros and cons to this, but I don't think that the government should be able to put a limit on how many children someone can have. But then again, it is a huge step towards population control, which is a major problem.

I don't know. I don't have an extremely strong opinion on this topic.

good thing, the alternative is mass starvation likely ending in a war of chinese agression to secure more space and natural resources

It is true that population control is an issue, but do governments have the right to enforce this kind of restriction on free will?

good...
and we so need it in india..
though things have changed considerable..my grandparents generation a single fam had an average of 7-10 children which now is 1-2 in urban areas and 3-4-5 in rural areas..

one reason why people keep having children in india is that they want a boy and if a girl is born they keep getting pregnant..this is for people who dont abort but there are zillions who do sadly...

Dont let ur studies interfere with ur education!!!!!
