So?? yeah i know sexual intercourse is not the only way to get AIDS but many people are also using used needles and syringes. What you said is true but the most common to get AIDS is through intercourse with a lot of sex partners.

this is true, these are other ways to get AID's, but how did the mother get it? she got it from a "partner" wich takes us the original way to get it. and ywah the first one is very posible but, what is more likly, form a rizor or somtin like that or having sex with multiple people? think about it.

Jamaica, you have not been checking recent developments. Just this August, statin drugs (used to also lower cholesterol) were found to reduce the HIV count and boost immune system functioning. Talk about a MAJOR development! It may take a few years, but you shouldn't talk down people whoh are hopeful about a cure or vaccine that will have killed 35 million(+) lives by the end of this year alone. (And that wasn't directed at anyone specific.)

The cure for AIDS probably would not surface till many many years in the future... WHy wait for those cures anyway??? If you dont want to get AIds, i suggest you wear contraceptives or better, dont be promiscuous. Its the only way.. people who have many sex partners are those likely to get AIDS because you never know... your partner may have lots of partners in the past too... and that poses as a real threat and a problem.

Cures and vaccines are relatively possible. However, a vaccine is far more likely to be developed first, and better. That does not rule out a cure, though. And the last time I checked, soil is not being investigated as a vaccine or cure. ha ha ha...

I think he meant looking in soil for life that might "hold the cure." I have a question, why should there be a cure? What if, on the off chance, nature had finally created the perfect virus? What then? There is nothing to stop that from being true. I doubt that we will ever find a conventional cure.

how could soil cure AIDS? i thought that it was incurible or whatever. telling someone to take soil is telling them to eat or take dirt, dirt is basicly little rocks, dust, and other crap like that. i dont see how that stuff could cure anyone of anything, let alone AIDS.

In theory no virus can be cured. As a matter of fact that theory has yet to be proven wrong to this day. That is why when you get a cold there is no way to get rid of it, only the symptoms. And I am curious as well, how is it that soil can cure AIDS?

Isn't a cure of AIDs impossible? I heard the only possibility of an advancement would be a vaccine, but not a cure.

It is rather expensive,way more expensive than the cost of medicine...
