quote: Yeah, euthanasia is against the law (rightfully so)
There are 3 different "types" of euthanasia (not including PAS) and in many cases if you bring a case of passive euthanasia to court, they will allow it to happen. Active euthanasia is harder to determine, and usually isn't allowed. Also, Bogey, Ohio asked about PAS, not euthanasia. The two are seperate things, and shouldn't be lumped together.
I would help. As my aunt lay dying, she bled from her mouth and her a.nus. She couldn't drink because the water went to her lungs, she could much less eat. She was in a bed, and if you moved her she screamed. She couldn't talk. She was just lying there in a bed.

Just wondering, but wouldn't it be considered murder to help someone kill themselfs? I don't think that I would have the heart to do it. I would want them to hang on and get help for as long as possible. If they are going to die, I'd rather have it be for natural reasons Not induced. It also depends on what type of pain they're in. I wouldn't help either way but it would still matter.

I think doctors should be forced to help with suicide. Better do it clean and dignified as opposed to messy and unsafe. If someone wants suicide, then if they relally want, they should be able to.

oppionted, that's not heartless at all. in fact, i think it's the good thing not to help. but to take them off of medications...no, bad idea. people go shall i say "crazy" or violent. that would be a bad case, too.
Taking someone's dignity away from them is heartless. Then again, different people have different views on the definition of dignity. But dignity is composed of an individual's belief in what dignity is, so I believe it should be left up to the individual who is in that situation. Sorry if I confused you.
i know this sounds heartless but i don't believe that you should kill or help kill someone even if they are in pain, but i do think you could take them off medical machines or medication.
