Part of the problem of overpopulation comes from teenage pregancies. If we can't stop premartial sex, we can at least slow down the birth rate in teenagers.

I think that giving kids the facts is the best and that we should decide which way we should go. No way is the wrong way. I learned about all the pros and cons in middle school. Condoms were also offered.I thought this was only a way to say We think it is okay if you do it whenever you want to. So awkward of them to say this and give them out.

Not offering protection only means that kids who are going to have sex don't have anywher to go to be safe. You can promote abstinence but if a couple wants to have sex, I'd rather know they're being safe... It's a good way to avoid a potential abortion (which you clearly apose)

You know, it would be really weird/awkward if my teachers started passing out condoms...
And I would never feel pain / and never be without pleasure, ever, again / and if the reign stops, and everything's dry, he would cry just so I could drink the tears from his eyes...

I think in high school, passing out condoms in class is a bit much. Perhaps make them availible at the school nurse by request, but passing them out is actively promoting sex, rather than just providing the option. Personally it looks like the condoms they pass out anyway are often of sketchy quality, ha.

At my school, in the Student Services office, there's a giant fish bowl full of condoms. It's funny to me.

I agree with clpo. Promoting abstinence only programs is not going to get kids to stop having sex, and it will just make the chances of kids having unsafe sex bigger, if they don't have the information I mean.

Kids are going to have sex, especially if you tell them not to. So I think it would be better to give out condoms and pills in school than not, but I really think comprehensive sex education is key, not simple availability of contraceptives.
