no offense or anything but that's stupid! It's part of nature. Snakes eat rats. It's how it works. We need the things that are in meat. It has things like protein that we have to have.

Ok, fair enough, Glove. That makes sense. I still don't feel like I have the "right" to eat meat, but that's just me.

Absolutely, however humans, as an organized species, also have a right to defend our lives. Having the "right" to attempt to eat us doesn't mean that they don't have to face the consequences of doing so. Humans are extremely dangerous and prolific.

Humans are animals, just like an insect and just like an ape. We are omnivores, as evidenced by our mixture of grinding molars and tearing canines and encisors. Biologically, we have as much right to kill a chicken for food as a lion has right to kill an antelope for food. We are included in the circle of life like any other living thing. If you are a true vegetarian, I respect that. If you choose not to eat meat, that is perfectly all right. As is the decision, or moreover instinct, to eat meat. I will admit, I'm not a vegetarian. However, I do have much compassion for all animals and hate to see them suffer, more than I hate to see humans suffer in most cases. I cannot see myself not eating meat. That is just not for me. My girlfriend is a vegetarian and I have massive amounts of respect for her (she is a true vegetarian, not one of those morons who does it for a fad or who think it's healthier to not eat meat). We do have a biological right to eat meat.

So vegetarianism is caused by brain damage or severe mental trauma. Either that or stupidity.

I don't think it was the trauma of watching her siblings get killed, I think it was the fact that her mother tried to kill her. Being rough with any newborn can cause severe brain damage. http://www.vegetarismus.ch/vegepet/tyke.htm

Exactly, this lion most likely either had some psychological or physiological disorder/damage that caused it to do this. It's cute, but it's totally irrelevent. It also in no way invalidates the concept of natural law.
