I was listening to Dr Drew, who is an experet addiction and drugs.. He said he'd rather have his kids take a huge bong load of pot every day for the rest of their lives then smoke cigarettes or drink alcohol.

But they argue that why should we introduce another unsafe produce, to which I reply:
We should get rid of alchohol or tobacco and switch to marijuan, since it is the safest of the 3.

I have a question for BS and Marine. I was reading old posts and they claim that because marijuana is not safe it should be illegal. But do you think alcohol and cigarettes should be illegal? According to your logic they would have to be since they are not safe.

Id also like to add when you read "smoking x amount of pot is equal to smoking x amount of cigarettes." It doesnt mean it will cause cancer. There have been zero cases of cancer or heart diease caused by marijuana. Although you can get emphysema from smoking pot just like inhaling any kind of smoke into the lungs.

LEGALIZE IT...it will solve alot of problems!!

Weed is not addictive unless you think it is. That is propaganda so as to keep it banned. They should ban coca cola first. Or how about glue, so that people don't get addicted to sniffing it. Poppy seeds are more addictive. Yes, they are. Better not get those poppy seeds on that bagel next time. Oooh, a bagel ban! (Poppy seeds/Opium)

I have no problem with pot, it's potheads i disdaid... I preferr glassware to pottery anyday.

How is eating a pot brownie and playing video games in your basement bad for you?

It is possible to drink yourself to hospitilization, mental and physical, or even to death. You can literally sit down and in a few hours drink yourself to blood poisoning.
While not as immediate, It is possible to contract lung cancer, emphyzema, and throat cancer from smoking, and nicotine itself is lethal in high doses.
There has yet to be found ONE marijuana health related death anywhere in the world. Every cancer associated with potsmokers was found in potsmokers that also smoked cigarettes, and it occurs less in smokers of both than in smokers of cigarettes.
If you think I'm wrong then please by all means prove me wrong.

it also takes pain away, hell last week I got pretty sick, throwing up and such.. I smoked a bowl, made the throwing up go away and I could eat also! Sure there are medications for that, but Im not into sticking things up my ***.

Okay, marine with your little "not safe--should be illegal" arguement, what about alcohol and cigarettes. Alcohol is the leading cause of car accidents, cigarettes of lung cancer. Both are addictive and more deadly than marijuana.
