I bet that most of you will agree with me that the gift of life is the ultimate gift of all. For those who know better..having lost a loved one, seeing someoned dear suffer form a chronic disease, or even going through it yourself...nothing beats being able to see another sunrise or to celebrate another Christmas. The concept of organ donation is definitely not a new one...i wonder...if something were to ever happen to you? Would you surrender your organs to save someone else's life while you're losing yours? Personally, i know deep down inside that i should probably sign up for organ donation but the selfish, ever-doubting person in me is always holding me back. Even though i know that i'd already be beyond rescue by that time, the thought of me lying lifeless on a metal table, being harvested piece by piece is a little debilitating for me. But i know that it's an extremely noble thing to do..surrendering your organs to keep someone else who's struggling to live, alive! I take my hats off to anyone who's thinking of doing it, has pledged themselves to this cause or has already done it before...even if is a regeneratable organ. I am debating on this issue internally and i'd love to hear your views and thoughts on this matter.Leave a word. Thanx

The only true argument I have heard against organ donation is that of a religious sense. It has been argued that someone who is not whole, will not be admitted into heaven. Personally, I find that if were true, the "christian god" wouldn't care that you provided another person with a chance to live I was orignianlly going to donate my organs, but then I decided to doante my body to "Body World"
"I'm loosing my mind!" That's right. I'm going to set it free and let it run around on its own for awhile...

u should definitely donate organs. think about it...when you're dead you won't need them anyway! think about how many lives you'll touch by giving someone your liver or heart, or lungs: that person, his family, friends, co-workers, etc.

i have been thinking about orgwan donation too, and i have told my family that, if i suddenly die, that i want all the usable organs donated to those in need. as soon as i am old enough, i want to donate all that i can.
