Relay For Life is the AMerican Cancer Society's signature acitivity.It is an overnight event where a community comes together with one common goal in mind- to take up the fight against cancer. Team of people camp out at a local high school, park, or fairground and take turns walking or running around a track or path.Each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all times during the event.I have participated in this event ofr over 4 years now and each year it grows and grows and makes more of a mark on my commmunity. Everyone one of us if not directly affected by cancer know someone who has cancer, has had cancer, or someone who's life has been ended by cancer. I am asking you as the youth of this nation to help me in my fight. Start a team at your school, if there isn't an event near you start one yourself.This disease is a devastating one. It has taken the life of two of my aunts, my sister's ability to have children, and my mother has had skin cancer. Please help me in my fight against cancer.
