I love how pain killers are just a way for people to waste their money untill they take so many that they don't feel any affects but keep popping them becuase they want to believe that they might actually help.. or maybe thats just me. What the fuck, there's nothing else i can do about these gay migranes... Maybe doctors should make a drug that 16 year olds can take, that'd be... oh I dont know, HELPFUL maybe. But no, all the drugs out there and all the surgerys and all the specialists are only for 18 year olds and up. And us young ones get to lay on couches and in beds, in the dark with no noise, and wait till the pain goes away because we're not good enough for anything strong.
If you ask me, thats bull shit. I understand that whats out there now is too storng for us, but then try making something thats a little weaker. Or give us less dosage, OR SOMETHING. You cant expect a teenager to suffer through something like this at such a young age. Kids miss school, holidays, events, birthdays, and a lot of other things becuase they cant get up without feeling like they're going to pass out. Thats just not right.
I've been getting migranes since I was 13, and I just dont think that doctors have a right to tell us and our parents that theres nothing they can do. My parents are also hurt by these. I failed three of my grade 10 courses because I missed so much school. Its not like we have an uncurable disease or something. Why can't a specialist just talk to us, ask us some questions, and find out if maybe there is some way of preventing these without drugs.
Im not allowed to take any form of pain killers any more because when i have a migrane I practically swallow 50. Im so frusterated.
I just want to know that someone else out there agrees with me. And if Im alone on this one, at least try explining it to me. please..

I went to a neurologist for my migraines. They sound like the kind you are having. Well the first neurologist sent me to a specialist for two different things, two different doctors. I like them both a lot, they are very nice, and good at what they do.

Yea, i have depression as well, so i know how you feel.
I've tried the hospital and all they did was poke me with kneedles, and then didnt get anything out of it.
Im kind of thinking of just living with it, and giving up on complaining.

Well, I've never had migrane headaches, but maybe you just need to see another doctor. I have depression, which I know is really different, but I have been told over and over that there's not much to be done for me. And my sister has a physical disability - one doctor said there was nothing to do; another recommended a surgical procedure that really helped. So maybe it's just a matter of doctors.
