As a vegetarian myself I really believe that you are mistaken. I can get the proteins I need through other sources. Also: 1. I HATE MEAT ITS GROSS 2. I HATE FISH ITS GROSS 3. EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW 4. ITS VERY CRUEL TO ANIMALS!! Also there is the chance that meat eaters could get very sick from their meat. I aren't bothered by it cause I don't eat meat. ALSO: 1. If people didn't eat meat then there would be less farm animals and more room to plant crops for affordable and easily acessed food. 2. With the land we currently use for meat animals, if we used it for crops, we'd be able to feed the world three times over! WOW! ps check out mah siggy

Bread=NO PROTEIN Dairy=NO PROTEIN the only no-meat items that contain protein in any form are nuts (like peanuts) eggs (but some say those count as meat) and soy as mentioned below quote: such as bread with peanut butter.
that will indeed get you some protein but the best source for them is lean meats

Don't forget your legumes! Vitamins would also be helpful once in a while.

I was a vegetarian for 7 years, I never had one health problem. All you have to do is eat lots of dairy or breads, and you get plenty of protein that you would normally get from meat.

That's not true. Soy is a complete protein, meaning it has all 9 essential amino acids. You can also get them from combining foods, such as bread with peanut butter. I'm a vegan. I've talked to dieticians, spent hours researching, and talked to a lot of other vegetarians out there. You can get protein, calcium, b12, iron, and everything your body needs from sources other than meat.

Well being that I'm not a vegetarian, I can't comment on the effects of being one; but the thing I can say it seems that vegetarians have more energy unlike the rest of human society that consume large quantities of meat every year. Yes our bodies need the essential amino acids from meat but eating more meat in the end hurts the body.*(red meats and pork anyway) Even then if you switch your diet to consuming more poultry, and fish, or turkey product instead of beef; you're still going to need those fruits and vegetables to balance out the body to keep it in a healthy running fashion. My solution, make fruits and vegetables 70% of your dietary supplement, poultry/fish 15%*(with a little red meat every now and then), whole-grain(breads, rice, etc.)10%, and dairy products 5% to balance the scale(make sure to still take a multi-vitamin). Hey but what do I know I'm not a health expert or anything.

I'd have to find it online but I learned most of it in classes and from a few books I'll have to dig it up.
