Oh my gosh-.05% of the population? Oh my! I better start confessing everything now! (Ummm... at 10pm you were saying 5 million people, at 10:05 you were saying 20 million. Which is it?)
News flash about influenza: The "flu" most commonly kills very old and very young. Also, the most afflicted areas are third world countries.
I would really like to see the article that I doubt you read.
I agree, I'd like to see your sources. Otherwise, there are lots of day to day threats we take too seriously. Consider one of the most famous the Y2K bug for computers. I personally won't believe it until it happens.
Illiud Latine dici non potest - You can't say that in Latin
I heard influenza can sometimes occasionally possibly be spread by these weird creatures called humans. Better stay away from those for the next 10 years, just in case.

20% of the world's "poblation" will be infected. That would be about 1,600,000,000 people. But then you say 20,000,000. That would be 20% of 1,000,000,000.
Are you sure you aren't talking about the epidemic of Spanish influenza that happened in 1918?

Please, when you make claims like this, even if YOU know they're 100% true, provide a source backing up your information.
But in this case, I doubt there is one...
When there is a rumor that 5,000,000 people are going to die, it usually shows up on Google. "influenza epidemic" "flu epidemic" and even "flu epidemic chickens" brought up nothing even remotely like what you are suggesting.
