I was wondering if anybody has used Datura stramoniun or other species as medicine for asthma or parkinson's disease.
I grew up with severe asthma and the doctors told me it was "uncurable" and that I would have it for life. They put me on steroids, antibiotics, inhalers and all sorts of harmful crap.
After a while I went to an alternative Chinese healer who gave me herbal medicine and performed Tai Chi or some sort of spiritual practice on me and after a few months my asthma completely disappeared and never returned.
Thats what backs up my view that illnesses such as asthma are alot more psychological than physical and there are alot of methods to cure it.
With my experience I have no trouble believing Datura stramonium would make an effective medicine for treating asthma. First of all when its smoked it acts on the lungs but also it seems to have alot of psychological healing properties.
If anybody has experimented with the medicinal values of this plant id love to hear from them.

Yeah sorry I put an n instead of m.
I know the dangers of datura, it doesnt really cause hallucinations, its more of a toxic delirium than anything and no its anything but fun.
By the way if you take too much your more likely to die than hallucinate. Atropine and other chemicals found in datura are extremely toxic and even a slight overdose can be fatal.
Plants containing tropane alkaloids arent to be taken lightly.

I think you might have spelled it wrong, its Datura stramonium. Watch out though, you take to much and you will be hallucinating, and it wont be fun. Even Hunter Thomson said he didnt do it more than twice.
