Unless you dont cook the meat right. Anyways that post had a lot of major, i guess, flaws tottaly unorganized. It was late at night and i was multitasking so you guys have your opinions and i have facts..i mean opinions. But i was orriganily going to put this: quote: Originally posted by Boxx: Please stop complaining about how hard it is to be vegan. It was your choice and it doesn't make anyone respect you more.
(Notice how boxx is short for dumber than a box of rocks lol) Anyways Im not asking you to respect me acctually I could care less if you do (I let it go in one ear and out the other) but you know it's other people's opinions and at least respect that.I am not complaining i am stating a fact. God i am sure being an ass is also a hard thing to do.. Or does it come natturally to you. Anyways let me restate that hole thing (i wasn't even talking to you by the way) Vegan there a many ways to put. No there's just one they don't eat wear or do anything that has to do with an animal suffering. Like leather or meat pork chicken ect. Vegan pregnances or vegetarian pregnences go badly because of the lack of protien. I read in a fact sheet that vegans or vegetarians age faster. I do not know of the specific reason why but probably because of the last reason. But the begining was rude but the rest is true. (P.S. This is a lil off subject but..I saw these and i thought about it and the peta thing to I whonder do think they thought of that?) Don't Take A life GET ONE People Eating Tasty Animals Don't ask me why I'm a vegetarian ask yourself why you not

quote: But as a vegan I won't have stuff rotting in me. I won't get any diseases through meat.
I just recently got sick from eating alfalfa sprouts. So let's not go there. Also, if you eat meat all your life, you can build an immunity to certain diseases. Just like many people who live out in the wild in Alaska are immune to giardia because they drink dirty water all their lives. quote: But as a vegan we age faster. Tottaly sucks. And if ever get married and have kid no matter what you have to be a semi-vegetarian because vegen or vegetarian pregnances don't go well. Thank you for saving us the headache and showing us why Veganism is unnatural. Good job.

Please stop complaining about how hard it is to be vegan. It was your choice and it doesn't make anyone respect you more.

I have been vegan for awhile. Despite my name, I joined here when I was a vegetarian) And people give me crap all the time. (not litterally but you know wat I mean right?) And I have gotton use to let it go in one ear and out the other. But as a vegan I won't have stuff rotting in me. I won't get any diseases through meat. But as a vegan we age faster. Tottaly sucks. And if ever get married and have kid no matter what you have to be a semi-vegetarian because vegen or vegetarian pregnances don't go well. (TOTTALY SUCKS!!!) So you guys we do have some hardships but why must feel the need to hate. Us we are all people with a different point of veiw. (by the vegan is very hard to do) Before I only ate cheese (milk has puss and eggs are a chicken's period) I found substiutes but still vegan is hard to do.

I highly recommend that you go VEGAN! Vegans ROCK! I am also vegan for...pretty much all reasons (including the environment of course).
Although it may be tough with your family, i don't think you'll regret being vegan. And once you go vegan, you won't wanna go back, for sure! I say stick to what you believe in. I get pretty good support for veganism from my parents, but some environmental "extremeties" are what they aren't supportive of. It's just important to be patient with them.
Here's another pursuasive point: your parents want you to be happy, right? well, tell them that not only is veganism good for the environment, but it would make you happy. Then when you go vegan, act ten times more happier than you already do!
See how you go - good luck!!

My brother made a choice to become vegan one day outta the blue. It was really random. I think it was a life changing moment for him, maybe a wake-up call. He stopped slacking off gave up alcohol drugs, etc. And now he lives his life to the fullest. Maybe it's just the essence he gets..I don't know..

Being vegetarian is not tat easy for some people. It needs a strong determination to give up meat and not to be tempt by it in the future. Need to watch your frens eating juicy steak while u just drink ice lemon tea. For me, i'm proud to be a vegetarian.

I like the idea of eating meat because I could pretend that it was human flesh, but the meat production industry creates 18% of the world's carbon emissions. Okay I can't remember if that's really the statistic but I'm not in a state to figure it out. I gave on vegan but I'm still vegetarian. simple./

I support your choice. But meat is not the enemy. I went vegetarian for lent and during the whole ordeal I researched what vegans eat and I thought it was a bit much. I will not and have not continued to be a vegetarian. I can see why people would choose to go meatless though. My parents and family did not support me with my meatless ordeal they criticized and made fun of me. At the end of the day though you feel good for the things you have done. Go ahead and make your own path do not listen to anyone. Just know that meat tastes yummy!

quote: I don't have a problem with eating meat. quote: So go ahead, sit down with your nice piping hot serving of mad cow and a side of bird flu, and talk to me then about intelligence. Don't contradict yourself. You're starting to support my theory. Anyway, it is a fact that the consumtion of fatty meat, hundreds of thousands of years ago, was one of the major factors in our evolution, that helped us become so intelligent. What are our brains made of again? Fat. And lots of it. And yeah, factory farms are disgusting. If I had a choice I would hunt my meat. You said so yourself, that wolves kill something that had freedom, it would be no different if I did the same thing. quote: Your version of survival of the fittest equals hypocrisy. A gang robs/rapes a woman on the street, is that also survival of the fittest? No. If two gangs of human fought to the death, with no weapons, and one survived, that is survival of the fittest. If you are weak, you will be taken advantage of, or used, or eaten, or killed, etc. quote: Lastly, being intelligent and eating meat are not connected in any way, shape or form, so I suggest the least you can do is regurgitate facts. Hinduism has created one of the finest cultures in the world and is the oldest extant religion, and lots of modern medicine has come from these people. Guess what, they don’t eat meat! It is apparent that you've chosen not to read what I said. Hindus chose not to eat meat fairly recently. Their people and everyone else was eating meat for HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF YEARS, beforehand. The consumption of fatty meat helped feed our evolving brains. If our ancestors weren't eating meat, we probably wouldn't have the brains we have now.
