So on the Right to Learn website there have been a lot of kids talking about their teachers. But I wanted to talk about my dream teacher. My dream teacher was pretty much my Peer Resources teacher, but she worked way too hard and was uber stressed out. But I would love to have a teacher that stayed after school to talk to their students and have time to answer questions and have one on one time with their students. I would also like a teacher who had lots and lots of patience, because some students like me, needed things explained many times some times. I would also like a teacher that was nice and actually cared about their students. Even after graduating from school I still keep in touch with some of my teachers. So In this post, talk about teachers you liked in school or a teacher you would like to be in your school.

My little brother has ADHD..he's in the 5th grade and has the most wonderful teacher i could ever dream of!! Her name is Mrs. O'conner she cares about my little brother so much! she's the only teacher that pays attention to his problem, she cares about all of her students she answers all of their questions before moving on, and she stays after school for the students who are too shy to ask with the other 20 kids in there. Oh! and his class was going to this museum and she was the only teacher that wanted him to go..all the other ones kind of ignored him. I love his teacher and i didnt have her!!

I had the most amazing seventh grade biology teacher. My parents were going through a divorce and she found out and called me out of class one day and I just broke down in tears because for the first time somebody cared. I am so thankful for all the days she let me sit in her room and eat lunch, I only wished she knew. My other favorite teacher was this old fart of a hippie who would do anything for you. I remember one time I had a truancy because my mom refused to call me in sick. I just talked to him the next day and he eliminated it. It takes a good teacher to change your attendance record. Great teachers can make or break a school year.

By the looks of the website provided, it looks to be a YN-sponsored call for reform of the California education system. Apparently, education in California must suck. My public education in Texas and Washington didn't give me any horror stories.

I had a teacher who forced me to learn to write. She made me sit down after school and write these short paragraphs. I hated it. It was painful, but she insisted. She graded me really harshly, until bit by bit I started to write better. And then, i could actually do it. I will always be grateful to her. Always
