So on the Right to Learn website there have been a lot of kids talking about their teachers. But I wanted to talk about my dream teacher. My dream teacher was pretty much my Peer Resources teacher, but she worked way too hard and was uber stressed out. But I would love to have a teacher that stayed after school to talk to their students and have time to answer questions and have one on one time with their students. I would also like a teacher who had lots and lots of patience, because some students like me, needed things explained many times some times. I would also like a teacher that was nice and actually cared about their students. Even after graduating from school I still keep in touch with some of my teachers.

So In this post, talk about teachers you liked in school or a teacher you would like to be in your school.

I had the most amazing seventh grade biology teacher. My parents were going through a divorce and she found out and called me out of class one day and I just broke down in tears because for the first time somebody cared. I am so thankful for all the days she let me sit in her room and eat lunch, I only wished she knew.

My other favorite teacher was this old fart of a hippie who would do anything for you. I remember one time I had a truancy because my mom refused to call me in sick. I just talked to him the next day and he eliminated it. It takes a good teacher to change your attendance record.

Great teachers can make or break a school year.

By the looks of the website provided, it looks to be a YN-sponsored call for reform of the California education system.

Apparently, education in California must suck. My public education in Texas and Washington didn't give me any horror stories.

I had a teacher who forced me to learn to write. She made me sit down after school and write these short paragraphs. I hated it. It was painful, but she insisted. She graded me really harshly, until bit by bit I started to write better. And then, i could actually do it. I will always be grateful to her. Always
