Raising pennies is the objective of my quest in finding a cure for Cystic Fibrosis(aka CF). The reason that I chose this cause is because I honestly think that this cause chose me. I have people in my life that have this disease and I think that they were put in my life for a reason. That is why I am raising pennies. But why pennies, you may ask? Yes, the penny has the least amount of value in currency, being that it is only worth 1 cent. But, it really only takes one person to get the ball started on something and cause a ripple effect. I am trying to get the word out to people to save their pennies and donate it to their local CF foundation. If you want to help, that would be awesome. I am trying to set up a website that is linked up to a CF foundation, so if you want to donate or anything else you can look there. I will post to let you know what the site is. Think if it was you that had a disease, wouldn't you want people to help find a cure. Lets find a cure for CF.
I have not yet reached my goal, and I am not perfect. But Christ has taken hold of me. So I keep on running and struggling to take hold of the prize. My friends, I don't feel that I have already arrived. But I forget what is behind, and I struggle for wha

To thestorygirl- What I want to do is raise money for CF as you know. CF hits close t home for me becasue I have a friend that has it and she is the sweetest person I have ever met. I am trying to start small and hopefully grow into something bigger. My goal is to get the word out to my peers to set a goal amount and start saving pennies to reach that goal amount and then donate it to the local CF foundation. I am also working on something else also.

Hi my name is Cindy and I have a little something to share - I had never heard of YouthNoise until tonight when I found your post. I was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis when I was 4 months old and would love to know more about what you're planning and help in any way I can. I personally have worked hard to help other people with CF and I'm so thrilled to see other people doing the same thing!
