General backstory: I was looking at the meanings of ribbons, and realized there was no for prevention of car accident fatalities/support for families and friends of victims of car accidents. After this realization, I began wondering about getting a J1C going for the prevention of car accidents, but there remained a hitch: We (Meagan87, YouthVoice, Someday355, Capricorn_09 and I) had no idea who we would suggest the money go towards. Our only inclination was MADD, but then came the realization that even though drunk driving is a VERY big cause of car accident fatalities, it is not the only one, and we wanted there to be someway to bring the other causes to light. That being said, we decided to attempt to start our own organization, Y NACAF-- YNers Against Car Accident Fatalities. Any thoughts, ideas, help?

I took a look at the projects and I didn't see anything myself. There was one project that had to do with car crashes but that ended a very long time ago.

Good idea. Drivers are way too agressive these days. Especially towards bikes.

I was watching CNN this morning, and they had a feature that centered around this website. If anyone would like to check it out, I think they could help us with what we want to accomplish. JourneySafe.org

I agree too. I feel that to often this is over looked or treated like less of a tragedy than it really is.

I second all of what Ikki has stated on this thread, as it has already been said on her post.
