This is similar to the summer volunteer projects that iamastar started, but this is for anything! Please share any type of project that you have done, would like to do, need help doing, etc. Anything from fundraising to politics to environmental work to community service...anything! This is so that some other go-getters can get some ideas (for example, I'm kind of stripped for some ideas of what to do for some good fundraising projects for a group that I'm in...). Heck, maybe some of these ideas will even reach the YN Advisory Board!! So what are you guys doing to change your: community, city, county, state, region, country, the world?

This is such a cool thing! I have many ideas, yet I'm not quite sure how to go about them. Like a zine to get the word out about current events, getting active in causes, and just about teenage life in general.
I totally think more kids should get involved in projects of their own doing. What an inspiring topic!

Hey Nick, I love getting involved. I founded my own non-profit organization in Dec. 2003 (on my 17th b-day), ive run 7 blood drives, many food drives, clothing drives, shoe/coat drives, peace vigils, internet networking websites, et cetera. I've also been the keynote speaker at a YouthNoise event in NYC. I just started an Online Peace Network in the Northeastern United States. www.generationforpeace.org Join if you want. Love the Lennon quote. We are looking to start peace clubs around the United States to promote peace, justice, and non-violence in schools, colleges, and workplaces. We have some peace vigils and teachins planned for the summer. pax.amor.aequalitas -Brian Brian@generationforpeace.orgwww.generationforpeace.orgSo this is how Democracy Dies...
