RAINN runs the National Sexual Assault Hotline and manages a college outreach program called RAINN Day. Our goal is to educate college students about sexual assault on campus. This year, RAINN Day will take place on Thursday, September 28.
Did you know that 1 in 6 American women experience an attempted or completed rape in her lifetime? Did you know that people in college have the highest risk for sexual assault? That’s why RAINN Day is such a worthwhile program.
You can sign up at
http://www.rainn.org/news/get-carded-2006.index.html and RAINN will send you updates and event ideas very soon.
RAINN Day is a great way to raise awareness on campus for the fight against sexual assault. You can order RAINN's Get Carded cards (shipped to you for free!) and then choose from many of their suggested fun events.
Plus, they’re giving the first 500 people that sign up a free RAINN benefit CD. It includes songs from artists such as Matchbox 20 and Tori Amos. They’re nearing the end of this first group, so sign up today.
Make RAINN Day a part of your college experience. And please pass this on your friends at other schools who might be interested in joining us in the fight against sexual assault.
Thanks!
