Some friends of mine and I are attempting to arrange a Free Speech rally for our school/district/area.
I'm interested in the ideas anyone would have as to speakers to invite.
Also, has anyone done anything like this before and have any tips to share?

We could plan one nationwide day to do this...this could be big! You should choose one date at least a month and a hlaf in the future so there is time to get the word out.

Thats ironic, i want to get a similar thing going. where ever you have it, make sure the issues tie in to the location (i.e. you wouldn't talk about students right to free speach at a rally near a prison). I always thought that the organizer should give a speach of some form, in fact if I was in your are I would speak their, but im not. Just make sure whoever it is supports the same issues that you do. Happy Rally!

It depends on the type of message you want to get across to people. You wouldn't ask a wanna-be-rapper to talk about politics or 50 Cent to talk about music. Pick and choose where you want to go with this and go from there.
